Registered Nurse - Medical ICU

Schedule

This is a 12-hour shift position from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, with an every other weekend requirement and holiday support.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This role demands a critical thinker who is comfortable with hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform bedside procedures such as chest tube insertion and intubations.
• Assist providers with various procedures as needed.
• Manage ventilators and administer critical care pharmacology.
• Conduct advanced hemodynamic monitoring and central line management.
• Provide mandatory bedside shift reports to ensure effective communication.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have prior Medical ICU experience in a large facility.
• Required certifications include BLS and ACLS.
• Strong knowledge of advanced critical care skills, including ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring.
