This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Neuro ICU Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing critically ill neuro patients, including stroke patients which constitute a large portion of the unit's population.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patients in a Neuro ICU setting.
• Administer medications and blood products as required.
• Provide care for ventilated patients and manage central lines.
• Perform continuous IV sedation and ICP monitoring.
• Caretake patients undergoing neuro interventions including craniotomies and EVD placements.
• Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE use as necessary.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Neuro ICU.
• Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS.
• Strong skills in vent management, dysrhythmia interpretation, and neuro patient management.
• Local candidates are accepted; traveler candidates must have previous travel experience.
