This position offers a 12-hour day shift from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As an RN in Labor and Delivery, you will play a pivotal role in supporting mothers during childbirth and ensuring the safety and well-being of both the mother and infant. You will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality nursing care to patients throughout the labor and delivery process.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess the health and status of mothers during labor and delivery.
• Provide support and education to patients and their families regarding the childbirth process.
• Administer medications and manage pain relief measures as needed.
• Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
• Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Additional certifications specific to Labor and Delivery may be required.
