Job Description

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to residents, observing their well-being, and ensuring effective communication with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Observe residents continuously, noting changes in their mental and physical health and reporting to the Supervisor.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician's orders and ensure proper documentation via computerized systems.
• Supervise Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) and assign nursing tasks in compliance with regulations.
• Accompany physicians on rounds to address residents' medical needs and facilitate communication.
• Perform wound care and have knowledge of wound vacs; administer oxygen and feeding per guidelines.
• Maintain infection control practices and ensure a clean, hazard-free environment.
• Complete required documentation for admits, discharges, and transfers of residents.
• Communicate effectively with families regarding resident concerns and new orders.
• Support the education and development of nursing staff and assist with orientation of new personnel.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3+ years of current nursing experience (within the last 6 months) - REQUIRED
• IV certification is required or must be obtained during onboarding - REQUIRED
• COVID vaccination required (declinations/exemptions not accepted) - REQUIRED
• Active New Hampshire nursing license - REQUIRED
• Previous travel experience and rural/small facility experience preferred
