Surgical Services RN - Day Shift

Schedule

Day 5x8-Hour shifts from 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM, with some potential variable shifts.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Services RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous charge experience and a strong background in various surgical specialties, including orthopedic, urology, general surgery, ENT, ophthalmology, and podiatry. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the surgical suite, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and ensuring patient safety protocols are upheld.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care during surgical procedures in collaboration with the surgical team.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and manage anesthesia as necessary.
• Assist with the preparation and maintenance of the surgical environment.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols.
• Document patient care and surgical activities accurately in the charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of surgical nursing experience.
• Valid California RN license required; pending licenses accepted.
• Experience with Epic charting preferred.
• Willingness to float between facilities as needed.
