CT Technologist - Nights 4-10’s

Schedule

This position follows a Monday-Thursday schedule with shifts from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM. There are no weekends required.

Job Description

The CT Technologist performs diagnostic CT examinations and assists physicians with invasive CT procedures. Responsibilities include preparing examinations for interpretation, maintaining radiation safety, and assisting with the management of supplies. This role requires conducting diagnostic CT examinations as per the order of an approved healthcare provider, performing handoffs and continuity of care communication, and analyzing CT examinations for quality control purposes. The CT Technologist will also operate all CT and related equipment, administer oral and intravenous contrast media under physician direction, transport and position patients safely, and assist physicians with special CT procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations and assist in invasive procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and prepare examinations for interpretation.
• Document diagnostic CT examinations and communicate effectively with caregivers.
• Analyze CT examinations for quality control and ensure proper operation of equipment.
• Administer contrast media under physician direction and transport patients safely.
• Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities related to CT services.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA approved school.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in radiography and CT.
• Current licensure as required by the state of Ohio.
• Annual CPR certification/When Seconds Count certification.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a diagnostic imaging setting preferred.
