Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care to a diverse patient population, including pediatric patients and those with varying acuity levels.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients in a high-volume ER setting.
• Provide critical care to patients presenting with conditions such as chest pain, respiratory failure, and abdominal pain.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, NP's, and PA's.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records using the EPIC charting system.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications preferred; TNCC training may be available at the traveler’s expense.
