Registered Nurse - Acute Care

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour day/night rotation with weekends as scheduled.

Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse in an Acute Care setting. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to a diverse patient population with various diagnoses, including CHF, COPD, cellulitis, and more. You will work collaboratively with a charge nurse and assist with patient care alongside nursing aides.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care based on established protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and report changes as needed.
• Titrate drips as required, particularly heparin based on APTT results.
• Document patient information and care activities accurately using EPIC system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN License.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Experience with patient care in an acute setting preferred.
