Cardiac Catheterization Lab Registered Nurse

Schedule

Day Shift: 4x10 Hours (07:00 - 17:00) with call required: 9 days per month.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Catheterization Lab Registered Nurse with scrubbing experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various cardiac procedures and possess the necessary certifications to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and management of equipment and instruments during cardiac procedures.
• Accurate monitoring of patients throughout all stages of cath lab procedures.
• Performing EKG lead placement and understanding of dysrhythmias.
• Maintaining sterile technique and a safe environment for patients.
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Documentation and charting as per facility protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a cardiac cath lab.
• Current certifications: ACLS, ARRT CI, ARRT R, and BLS.
• Must have a valid state or compact RN license.
• Prior charge experience is preferred.
