OB/GYN Registered Nurse - Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week (Saturday - Friday).

Job Description

The Memorial Family Birth Place serves over 500 families each year, providing new mothers with a comforting environment for their labor, delivery, and recovery experience. The obstetric team exemplifies caring and compassion while guiding mothers through each step of their maternity and delivery care. Support persons are invited to share in these meaningful experiences.

Responsibilities

• High proficiency in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) practices.
• Experience in Labor, Triage, Delivery, Circulating, C-Sections, Newborn Care, and Postpartum Couplet Care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of OB/GYN experience required.
• STABLE certification preferred.
• Covid Vaccine required, exemptions allowed.
• Must pass a dysrhythmia test prior to working on the floor.
• Active Michigan RN license.
• Current American Heart Association certifications: BLS, ACLS.
• Active NRP and AWHONN certifications.
• Comprehensive work history and skills checklist relevant to OB/GYN, current within one year.
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years.
