Registered Nurse - MedSurg

Schedule

This position requires a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with weekly guaranteed hours of 36.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The RN will be responsible for providing patient care in a MedSurg unit. The role includes working with adult and geriatric populations and requires experience with Cerner.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and managing patient care.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide quality care.
• Adhering to best practices and protocols in patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of MedSurg experience.
• Cerner experience is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required.
