Job Description

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality imaging services at a 10-bed facility. The technologist will work autonomously from 11 PM to 7 AM and will have a scheduled XR tech available until 11 PM. The position involves collaborating with the Emergency Department and supporting the Inpatient Rehab Unit as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-Ray imaging procedures according to established protocols.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and safety in all procedures.
• Ensure proper documentation and management of imaging records.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care.
• Stay informed on departmental protocols and technology updates.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current AART (R)(CT) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 1-2 years of experience in CT and X-Ray imaging.
• Proficiency with GE CT Scanner, Philips XR, and experience with IBM Merge PACS.
• Familiarity with MedRad contrast injector.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
