Multimodality Technologist (CT/X-Ray)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with every third weekend required.

Job Description

The Multimodality Technologist (CT/X-Ray) is responsible for providing quality imaging and patient care within the X-ray and CT departments. This role requires effective communication with patients to explain procedures, ensuring their understanding and competence in the process. The technologist must produce clear images as per the request of licensed practitioners for interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray and CT scans, adhering to safety protocols.
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding.
• Produce quality images for interpretation.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of the latest imaging technologies and practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a multimodality technologist.
• Must be registered in both Radiography (ARRT) (R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT) (C).
• Current SCRQSA certification.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with emergency, trauma, pediatrics, and orthopedic exams in both modalities is highly preferred.
