Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Will work 3x12 hour shifts, Days (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM).

Call Rotation: Up to 4 call shifts (end of shift - 7:00 AM) per month.

Weekend Requirement: Up to one working weekend shift every 4 weeks.

Holiday Requirement: Must work at least one of the holiday periods.

Job Description

As an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN), you will be responsible for managing patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment. This role involves collaborating closely with surgical teams to ensure high-quality care and patient safety during various surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub during surgical procedures.
• Monitor and manage patient vitals before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Coordinate with surgical teams to maintain a sterile environment.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of OR equipment and instruments.
• Participate in patient education and post-operative care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting is strongly preferred.
• Active SC or Multi State/Compact RN license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Scrub experience is highly preferred.
• Radiation badge to be provided by the agency.
