Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel RN for our Emergency Department. The ideal candidate should be skilled in managing a fast-paced environment with a patient population that includes both adults and pediatrics. The nurse will be responsible for patient care, including IV starts, medication administration, and sedation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and provide appropriate interventions for patients
• Administer medications and manage IV starts
• Perform sedation and monitor patients for safety
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records using Meditech

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in Kansas
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, NIH
• Experience in a large facility ER setting or equivalent
• Experience with Meditech preferred
