Neuro Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12-Hour Night Shift (19:00 - 07:00) with weekends required. 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Neuro Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent patient care with a focus on neuro and telemetry patients. This role requires floating between units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patients with neurological conditions, including those receiving telemetry.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members.
• Participate in patient education and support family involvement in care.
• Utilize proper ventilation and airway management techniques.
• Maintain compliance with isolation precautions and PPE use.
• Support rapid response teams during emergency situations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license with compact licensure.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a neuro telemetry unit.
• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience with EPIC or similar charting systems is necessary.
