Registered Nurse - Acute Care of Elderly & Alternate Level of Care Unit

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights - 12-hour shifts rotating between 7 PM to 7 AM and 7 AM to 7 PM, with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. Must work one weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend.

Job Description

Join our team in the West 4 Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) & Alternate Level of Care Unit (ALC), which serves a total of 36 beds, providing vital care to our elderly patients. Your nursing expertise will play a crucial role in delivering medical care and support in this acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to elderly patients in an acute care setting.
• Monitor patient vitals and administer medications as required.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to manage patient care effectively.
• Document patient information and care provided using EPIC charting.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.

Required Experience & Certifications

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute med-surg/tele.
• At least 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York RN license is required.
• AHA BLS certification required.
