3x12-Hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM on Saturday, Sunday, and one weekday.

Job Description

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in a dynamic, busy environment within a level-one trauma center. The main operating room features 21 OR suites covering all surgical specialties such as Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics. RNs in this facility are trained to scrub and circulate surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room during surgical procedures.
• Assist with preparation and maintenance of the operating room.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in patient status.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of nursing experience in the operating room strongly preferred.
• SC or Multi State/Compact RN license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience with scrub procedures is strongly preferred.
