Contract - RN - Postpartum

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Night Shift) with rotating weekends.

Job Description

Join our dynamic postpartum unit providing exceptional care in a fast-paced environment with a high annual birth volume. We strive to support families during the crucial early days of parenthood while ensuring safety and comfort for both mothers and newborns.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the postpartum recovery of mothers.
• Conduct non-stress tests and support hyperemesis management.
• Administer medications including insulin, magnesium, and heparin drips.
• Provide education and emotional support to new parents.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• NRP Advanced Provider certification required.
• Previous labor and delivery or antepartum experience is preferred.
