Monday to Friday, 6 AM - 2:30 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Cytotechnologist to prepare specimens and screen slides for abnormalities, referring to the pathologist as necessary. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cytology and possess the necessary certifications and licensure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specimens and screen slides for cytological evaluation.
• Identify abnormalities and refer findings to the pathologist.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of findings.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure quality and efficiency.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Cytotechnologist Certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
• California Department of Public Health (CDPH) license.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in cytology.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant science field.
