LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Job Description

The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients, utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state regulations and hospital policies. This role requires critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and effective leadership to ensure the safe delivery of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in accordance with the Nursing Process.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgement in patient care planning.
• Supervise and delegate patient care responsibilities to nursing staff based on their qualifications.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Ensure patient safety and quality care delivery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a valid CO or multi-state compact RN license.
• ACLS & BLS certifications required (from the American Heart Association).
• Experience with ventilators, tracheostomy care, and central lines required.
• Preferred experience in wound care.

Schedule

This is a night shift position from 18:00 to 06:30.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
