Day Shift: 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical Telemetry position within a mixed unit that provides high acuity patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong telemetry skills and have experience in rapid response team situations, as well as total joint management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor patient care in a high-acuity environment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Respond quickly to emergency situations and participate in rapid response teams.
• Document patient assessments and care in Meditech.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Participate in mandatory clinical orientation and training sessions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical Surgical Telemetry role.
• Active RN license in Florida or compact license.
• Certified in ACLS, BCLS, and NIHSS.
• Experience with 1:6 patient ratios is mandatory.
• Familiarity with high-acuity patient care and telemetry monitoring.
