Speech Therapist (SLP)

This is an 8-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours from 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM, with every third weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Therapist (SLP) with preferred experience in TBI and CVA care. The ideal candidate will provide assessment and therapy interventions for adult and geriatric patients in an acute care rehabilitation facility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech and language disorders.
• Implement therapy interventions and document patient progress.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home exercises.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3 years of experience preferred; 2 years acceptable with strong skills.
• BLS certification required.
• Active and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
