Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30), with weekend requirements every other week.

Job Description

We are seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to provide care in a high-risk labor and delivery unit. The ideal candidate will possess a valid AK RN license, along with relevant certifications and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in labor and delivery.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and antepartum care.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and administer necessary interventions.
• Participate in triage processes for obstetrical patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, NRPS.
• Valid Alaska RN license (must have license in hand for auto offer).
