Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Instrument Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the processing and sterilization of surgical instruments within a Level 1 trauma facility.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper cleaning, packaging, and sterilization of surgical instruments.
• Maintain compliance with safety and infection control policies.
• Keep accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to meet instrument needs and requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Instrument Technician.
• Certification as a Surgical Instrument Specialist: CRCST or IAHCSMM required prior to submission.
• Current Mask Fit Test required.
