Registered Nurse - Comprehensive Medical Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, with a requirement to work every other weekend. No call requirement.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will primarily work on the 3 West Comprehensive Medical Unit and occasionally float between various Med-Surg units, including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Observation. Proficiency with Epic EMR is mandatory, and candidates must document their current experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent patient care on the Comprehensive Medical Unit.
• Float to various Med-Surg units as needed.
• Demonstrate the ability to read telemetry; competency will be tested on the first day.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• Current BLS certification required.
• A minimum of 3 years of current/recent experience in Telemetry and/or Stepdown.
• Proficiency in Epic EMR; refresher classes are not an option.
