This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Flexible schedule options available: Choose between a 4x10 hour shift (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 07:30 to 18:00 and Friday from 07:30 to 17:00) or a 5x8 hour shift (3 days at 09:30 to 18:00 and 2 days at 07:30 to 16:00). No weekends required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Pediatric Outpatient team. The SLP will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in pediatric patients, specifically focusing on conditions such as autism, developmental delays, and language disorders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations for speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy for infants, pediatrics, and adolescents with communication disorders.
• Document and maintain accurate records for assessment, discharge, evaluation, and treatment progress.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment options, progress, and strategies to support language development.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience required.
• Current certifications: BLS and CCC-SLP.
• Experience with Wellsky/Epic documentation systems is preferred.
• Patient safety awareness: Signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse.
• Ability to float to other units as needed.
