This position offers a Night 3x12-Hour shift from 19:00 to 07:30.

Job Description

The Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) will provide nursing care to adolescents facing mood disorders. The RN will be responsible for managing patient care and demonstrating proficiency in behavioral health practices while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication and provide treatment as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Facilitate therapy sessions and group activities.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients to express their feelings.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance the quality of care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a behavioral health nursing role.
• BLS certification required.
• Previous charge nurse experience is required.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Experience with community hospital settings preferred.
