Physical Therapist - Outpatient

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday-Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM (1 hour lunch from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM)
Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (no lunch)

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will provide outpatient rehabilitation services to patients, focusing on enhancing functionality and mobility. Responsibilities include evaluating patient needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to assist patients in their recovery journey.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and track patient progress.
• Assist patients with lifting and transferring during therapy sessions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records using electronic systems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• State PT Licensure from the Board of PT Examiners or PT Compact Commission.
• 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is preferred.
• Certifications in BLS, Dry Needling, Manual Therapy, and Wound Care are required.
