Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) with rotating weekends and holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Labor and Delivery and postpartum care for mothers and infants.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
• Monitor maternal and fetal health, intervene as necessary.
• Assist in the delivery of infants and provide immediate care to newborns.
• Educate new mothers on postpartum care and infant care basics.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Ohio RN Licensure required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery and postpartum nursing preferred.
• Current certifications in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), BLS (Basic Life Support), and EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and STABLE certification preferred.
