Travel Registered Nurse - ICU

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights (7 PM - 7 AM), every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and be proficient in managing complex health needs of ICU patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor vital signs and patient condition, administering medications and treatments as needed.
• Manage ventilators and vasoactive drips effectively.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document all patient care activities in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Alabama or Multistate Registered Nurse License (no prior NURSYS hits).
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU Registered Nurse experience.
• Experience with vented patients and vasoactive drips is required.
• Cerner experience is preferred.
• Must reside 50+ miles from the facility.
