This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts, 7 PM to 7 AM, every other weekend. No block scheduling.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing respiratory care across various departments including Emergency Department, Critical Care, and General Floor care for adult, pediatric, and nursery patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of Respiratory Care including ventilator management, Bipap, and Hi Flow management.
• Administer medications via nebulizers and other respiratory medication delivery systems.
• Conduct blood gas analysis and interpretation.
• Provide care in Emergency and Critical Care settings.
• Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Pennsylvania Respiratory License.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Experience with NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) is preferred.
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred.
