Schedule

3x12.0 shifts with D/E/N rotation, including holidays, on-call, and callback/charge duties as per unit needs.

Job Description

Join a state-of-the-art 12-bed Neuro Medicine ICU dedicated to providing specialized care for critically ill neuro patients. This role focuses on delivering intensive nursing and medical care for diagnoses such as traumatic brain injury, aneurysm, status epilepticus, stroke, and other critical neurologic pathologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to critically ill neuro patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and responses to treatment.
• Administer medications and treatments as per established protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain knowledge of current practices in critical care nursing.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License in New York (NY License ONLY).
• Two (2) years of RN experience in an ICU acute care setting.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY).
• NIHSS certification is required.
• Demonstrates strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
