Schedule

Shift: 2:45 PM - 3:15 AM. Must be available for every other weekend and flexible to meet departmental needs.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively within a diverse team to meet the needs of our patient population.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient needs and establish appropriate care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Provide direction and support to nursing staff and other team members.
• Maintain accurate, comprehensive patient records using Cerner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a nurse, with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting.
• Current RN license and certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS.
• Experience in a Level II trauma center and high-volume ED preferred.
• Ability to coach and provide real-time feedback.
