Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation

Day shift, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM; one weekend per month required.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for providing inpatient care in a 42-bed rehabilitation unit. This role requires a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals including physical therapists and assistants.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapy interventions for orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic, and general medical/surgical populations.
• Monitor and document patient progress using EMR systems.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and families about therapy techniques and home programs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Physical Therapist license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, or skilled nursing facility settings.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to work varied day shift hours.
