Weekend Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 3:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Job Description

The Travel NICU Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care for a variety of patients, ranging from stable feeder-growers to critically ill level 3 patients in a 40-bed unit. This position includes responsibilities such as monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to NICU patients.
• Assess and monitor patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Support families with emotional and informational needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in Indiana.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level 3 NICU setting.
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically Cerner.
