CT and X-Ray Technologist

This position requires a mid shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CT and X-Ray Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, to join our healthcare team. The candidate will perform a variety of imaging procedures on patients, ensuring high-quality medical imaging and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-Ray imaging procedures as required.
• Start peripheral IVs, with an expected daily average of 8-9 IV starts.
• Utilize PACS and other imaging technology effectively.
• Provide imaging services to both adult and pediatric patients, including emergency department cases.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as necessary.
• Float to other facilities as needed, based on operational requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT certification in CT and Radiography.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Siemens and Samsung X-Ray equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records, specifically EPIC.
• Outpatient imaging experience for both adults and pediatrics is required.
• Experience in conducting various CT and X-Ray exams, including extremities, abdomen/GI, and cranial examinations.
