Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care in a Medical Surgical unit with a focus on delivering excellent patient experience and using advanced medical-surgical knowledge. The position requires collaboration with a team including charge nurses, RNs, techs, and secretaries in a fast-paced, 33-bed unit.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients in a med/surg environment, managing a patient ratio of 5:1.
• Utilize Meditechs for documentation and ensure whiteboards are filled out for patient experience.
• Participate in teamwork and float to other units as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Basic knowledge of medical-surgical nursing.
• No specific certifications required.
• Advanced skills in procedures performed in a regular med/surg setting preferred.

Dress Code

Scrubs must be navy blue, black, royal blue, or any shade of gray.
