Day shift, 5x7.5 hours from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will play a critical role in performing advanced imaging procedures in the field of cardiology. The ideal candidate will work closely with physicians in a variety of interventional cases, ensuring high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to, hepatic biopsies, nephrostomies, and various catheter placements.
• Manage and access ports, including central venous access and PICC lines.
• Prepare and set up equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Utilize fluoroscopy and other imaging technologies effectively.
• Provide support during procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation utilizing the EPIC charting system.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care and procedural efficiency.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology.
• Current ARRT (R) certification and BLS certification are mandatory.
• Active New Jersey state license required before the start date.
• Experience with Philips, Siemens, and OEC C-arm technologies is essential.
• On-call required every third weekend and some holidays.
