Nursing Supervisor - Intensive Care and Med/Surg Units

Assignment Duration

This is a contract position with a duration of approximately 13 weeks.

6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday

Job Description

The Nursing Supervisor oversees nursing care in an interdisciplinary environment, coordinating total patient care for patients ranging from Intensive Care to Med/Surg units. The role involves leading and directing interdisciplinary care teams and requires the ability to float between units as requested.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care across various patient care levels.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Lead interdisciplinary care teams by providing guidance and direction.
• Float to different units as needed, based on patient care demands.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience (required).
• Current license and certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT.
• Two supervisory references from past 12 months of employment.

On-Call Requirements

This position requires Monday night call and rotating call every 3rd to 4th weekend.
