CT Technologist - Full-Time Days with Call Rotation

Job Description

Under the direct supervision of the Imaging Director and with guidance from the radiologist, the CT Technologist performs radiographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of diseases and injuries. This role requires effective collaboration with patients, their families, and other departments to ensure high-quality patient care and performance improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures effectively and safely.
• Consult with other departments as appropriate to collaborate in patient care.
• Adhere to infection control, fire safety, disaster, and hazardous waste policies.
• Manage time effectively while maintaining a safe and clean environment.
• Demonstrate respect and professionalism while interacting with patients and staff.
• Support the mission and vision of the organization.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Accept and provide constructive feedback to promote team collaboration.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduation from an approved school of radiology technology.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and licensed by the State Department of Health.
• Flexibility to work overtime and participate in on-call duty.
• Understanding of age-related developmental issues for both pediatrics and geriatrics.
• Current BLS certification and maintenance of continuing education credits as required by the ARRT.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a day shift and call rotation.
