MRI Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: Monday to Friday, 5x8 hours (12:30 PM - 9:00 PM). There is also the possibility of flexible schedules including 4x10s and 3x12s.

Job Description

The Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI) is responsible for performing high-quality MRI examinations according to established protocols. The technologist will work with diverse patient populations to ensure accurate imaging for physician interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality MRI examinations on patients.
• Follow established imaging protocols for a range of procedures including general MRI exams, implants, elastography, defecography, breast, and cardiac.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Assist in patient positioning and preparation for MRI procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience required.
• BLS certification is required.
• ARRT (MR) certification is required; ARMRIT state license is not necessary.
• Radiation badge must be supplied by the agency; the facility does not provide radiation badges for travelers.
