Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to Emergency Room patients. Utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Acts and hospital policies, the RN will demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in the planning and delivery of patient care in the Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to Emergency Room patients using the Nursing Process.
• Anticipate and plan safe delivery of care for patients.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel in patient care delivery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years ER RN experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are mandatory.
