Staff Registered Nurse - Obstetrics

The position requires flexibility for weekday and weekend day/night shifts, with holiday rotation.

Job Description

This Staff RN position primarily focuses on obstetrics, with required experience in labor and delivery. The Staff RN will also cover medical-surgical duties when there are no OB needs and may be assigned Charge RN shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to obstetric patients during labor and delivery.
• Support patients and families through the labor and delivery process.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes.
• Cover medical-surgical responsibilities in absence of obstetrics needs.
• Serve as Charge RN as needed, overseeing staff and patient care operations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license required.
• Demonstrated experience in labor and delivery.
• Experience in a med-surg setting is preferred.
