6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit. This unit serves as an inpatient overflow area accommodating both medical-surgical and step-down patients, with a typical patient turnover of 24 hours. Candidates should possess telemetry competency and experience in progressive care settings.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions using telemetry equipment.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in a progressive care setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system (Cerner).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have telemetry competency.
• Progressive care experience is required; recent experience preferred.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
