3x12 hour shifts, Nights. May be required to float to other maternal units, including postpartum and NICU.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor & Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to mothers and newborns in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be prepared to work in a High Risk OB setting, which includes labor beds, antepartum beds, and operating room suites.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to women in labor and delivery.
• Monitor the health and progress of mothers and infants.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assess patient conditions and administer medications.
• Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, and postpartum care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active NV State RN license prior to start.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery within a high-risk hospital environment.
• Required certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS. STABLE certification is preferred.
