Job Description

The Radiation Therapy Technologist is responsible for delivering quality patient care by performing diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced technology. The ideal candidate will work in a collaborative environment, providing safe and effective treatment for patients receiving radiation therapy.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiation therapy procedures accurately and in accordance with physician orders.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safety protocols are adhered to at all times.
• Work closely with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to evaluate and assist in treatment planning.
• Provide support and education to patients regarding their treatments and care.
• Document all procedures and patient interactions in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Radiation Oncology.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy Technology.
