MRI Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position with a shift from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing MRI scans and related procedures, ensuring quality images and patient care throughout the examination process. The ideal candidate will work in a team-oriented environment and be prepared to handle a varying workload efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans and procedures, primarily focusing on spine and brain examinations.
• Conduct breast biopsies as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning for optimal imaging quality.
• Document findings accurately in the Meditech system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Florida MRI certification and ARRT certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of MRI experience.
• Ability to adapt to facility protocols and a fast-paced environment.
