Schedule

This position follows a Day 5x8-Hour schedule with shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures, operating the GE Ventri machine, and ensuring quality control of all equipment. The technologist will assist physicians during procedures, monitor and record all radioactive materials, and perform IV insertions as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform NM procedures and processing to produce diagnostic results.
• Operate the GE Ventri machine to generate imaging results.
• Monitor and record the use of radioactive materials.
• Maintain quality control for all imaging and nuclear medicine equipment.
• Assist physicians in performing nuclear medicine procedures.
• Perform IV insertions as required.
• Utilize PACS and Xceleris for image storage and processing.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ARRT or NMTCB certification required.
