Registered Nurse - ICU Day Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. This position is for the day shift only, and the ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and critical care nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor, record, and report changes in patients' conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families regarding health care plans and discharge instructions.

Schedule

This position requires a day shift from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Basic pharmacology knowledge and rhythm interpretation skills.
• Completion of any required training specific to ICU nursing, including specialty exams and core competencies.
• Current certifications, including BLS and ACLS, are preferred.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position, with the possibility of extension based on performance and departmental needs.
